Someone please give me a rod!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

I had the privilege of guiding Dave for his retirement present to himself. He also brought a special guest Jim from Eldredge Bros fly shop. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs. Dave was able to hook into many nice fish and land several. He caught his first land lock salmon and brook trout.

On the first night salmon were rising every where and I couldn’t take it any more and I yell out” someone please give me a rod!!!”,lost my head for a moment.

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Right now this was my last trip for smallmouth bass and my focus now turns to trout and salmon but you never know[;)]. I took out Tim and he brought a guest, who was Mike(wooly bugger), for smallies on the fly. They picked the right day, the fish were willing and a lot of fish were caught. A fun day had by all.

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

I have been guiding almost every day for four weeks straight and I had one day off, so what do I do? I take three little kids fly fishing for trout and salmon. They each landed three fish on dries all by themselves. This was Dakotas only second time fly fishing and he got a nice salmon on a dry fly.
