I had the pleasure of helping Buddy, introduce Lee and Jim( his son in-laws) to fly fishing for small mouth bass. We had a good mix of top water and streamers. The biggest of the day was a 18 incher with a lot in the mid teens.

Jamo and Eli

Sunday, August 1st, 2010

his was their first real fly fishing trip and first time for salmon. These guys are big time bass fishermen with spinning rods,so this was fun for me showing them this side of fishing. They both land a couple salmon but not until they got the hang of how fast a salmon takes a dry . We then hit a river for smallmouth and they could believe the fight on a fly rod and Jamo even got a pig and it was a great battle, very fun day for me.
