his was their first real fly fishing trip and first time for salmon. These guys are big time bass fishermen with spinning rods,so this was fun for me showing them this side of fishing. They both land a couple salmon but not until they got the hang of how fast a salmon takes a dry . We then hit a river for smallmouth and they could believe the fight on a fly rod and Jamo even got a pig and it was a great battle, very fun day for me.

James(the web master of www.maineflyfish.com) was up visiting Maine and I guided him to a grand slam, big bass, brook trout and land lock salmon all feeding in the same 200 foot area. There were only a few mishaps with all those rising fish!
