Maine Striper Bass

Happy Birthday Jen

Friday, May 15th, 2009

On Thursday my wife turned 29 again, so I am really not sure hold old she really is. She wanted to get out fishing for a little while. It was cloudy, cold and windy felt like fall. The boys and her were able to land several crappy a piece, then we were home for beer and fajitas.

10yr-old girl breaks two fishing records

Sunday, May 10th, 2009

London, May 9 : A 10-year-old girl has broken two fishing records after she reeled in a monster catfish that weighed almost as much as she did.

Natalie Carter, who weighs five-stones, spent 45 gruelling minutes under the baking Thailand sun fighting a giant three-and-a-half stone Redtail catfish before getting it to the bank. read more……..

Florida Keys 2009

Friday, May 8th, 2009

This was an incredible trip! I spent the weekend with my buddy Matt from Florida and Carter from Maine. We had shots at tarpon, bones, spooked a permit, sharks and barracuda. We drank a lot of beers and had a lot of laughs.

I am sorry there isn’t any fish pictures to post or is there, you will have to wait until Grey Ghost Productions next film to see if I actually got skunk or not.

trying to figure out why I fish so much

Pike on the fly

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

I have yet to have a good experience pike fishing, to cold, to windy and no fish. Yes, I know it isn’t about catching fish but you know deep down it is all about catching fish. I have decided April is not the month for pike,no matter what you read, May is it. The water is warmer, the sun shines brighter and the fish are very aggressive. Here are photos from Mondays pike outing. It was cold and extremely windy and no fish caught but I great day fishing new water and hanging with a good friend.
