Bill Blake was up from Texas and he wanted to treat his future brother in-law to some fishing, so he called me on a favor. We had  a great time, we landed 23 in three hours, mostly on flies. I gave Rob some casting lessons and he was able to catch his first fish on a fly. It was by far the coldest, wet ride back to the boat launch I have ever had.

There are few things that could offer greater long-term benefits to midcoast Maine than the proposed removal of dams on the Penobscot River.
