I find the fall fishing to be my favorite and sometimes the colder it gets the better. It brings on a whole new set of challenges. Even though most of the places hold stock fish,the places are beautiful and are a lot of fun with a 4 weight rod. They are also great places to spend time with friends. Russ, Brad, Tait and myself fished GLS this past weekend. We ran into DaveM,who I saw hook into a few nice fish. Tait and I hook four nice ones this morning on nymphs but Tait broke two of them off. Last night Jack,who is my insurance guy caught two nice salmon and let Tait reel them in,thanks. Met some real nice people and only had a couple times I felt like throwing rock at people[;)]. There are some real nice fish in the river and they are very fat. So take advantage of this great weather and get out there.
